Day 1: Cusco - Km 104 - Wiñay Wayna - Puerta del Sol - Aguas Calientes
05:00 am - Pick up from your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley
We begin the adventure with a private transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo. From there we will take the Vistadome train to Km 104, the starting point of the Short Inca Trail.08:00 am approximately - Start of the hike at Km 104
After checking in at the control point, we begin the ascent visiting the archaeological site of Chachabamba. The trail takes us through cloud forests, streams and spectacular Andean landscapes.11:30 am - Arrival at Wiñay Wayna
This impressive Inca complex, whose name means "Forever young", stands out for its agricultural terraces, ceremonial fountains and architecture that still retains its grandeur. Here we rest and explore the site with our guide.13:00 pm - Picnic lunch surrounded by nature
We enjoy a box lunch in the middle of the Andean forest, recharging energy for the final part of the hike.15:30 pm - Arrival at Inti Punku (Sun Gate)
After overcoming the last stretch, we arrive at the Sun Gate, from where you will have a magical view of Machu Picchu for the first time, as did the ancient pilgrims.17:00 pm - Descent by bus to Aguas Calientes
We head to the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes), where you will spend the night in a comfortable hotel. Free time to explore, dine and relax.🛏️ Overnight at hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Day 2: Machu Picchu - Guided Tour - Return to Cusco
Very early in the morning, we depart by bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu to enjoy the best hours of the day, with fewer visitors and a quieter atmosphere.
Accompanied by your expert guide, you will begin a private guided tour of the most emblematic sectors of Machu Picchu. This tour, which follows Circuit 3 (lower part), will take you through impressive sites such as:
- The Temple of the Sun, a masterpiece of Inca engineering.
- The Main Plaza, where you can still feel the energy of the past.
- The ceremonial fountains, an example of the advanced Inca hydraulic system.
- The Intihuatana, one of the most mystical points of the sanctuary.
- The agricultural sector, with its perfectly designed terraces.
This circuit allows you to have a complete and enriching vision of the citadel without leaving out its most important aspects.
Additional option: If you wish to add a hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, please note that it must be booked in advance and is subject to availability.
At the end of the tour, we return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to have lunch, rest or explore the local markets and handicrafts.
In the afternoon, we take the panoramic train back to Ollantaytambo, from where a private transport will take you comfortably to your hotel in Cusco.
