The tour of the Uros and Taquile Islands will follow a route with calm walks on Lake Titicaca.It will let us learn and experience local customs.We will also share some knowledge with the local people.
Currently called “the fourth most beautiful island in the world’s lakes,” it has stunning views and culture.It is a place every tourist should visit at least once in their life.
Itinerary

Day 1: Lago Titicaca: Uros – Taquile
The 1-day Uros Taquile speedboat tour will start at 7:30 am, with pickup from your hotel or the Puno bus terminal. We will then travel by private transport to the main pier or port.
Next, we will set off for the floating islands of the Uros, currently considered the Lake Titicaca National Reserve. It is also known as the highest navigable lake in the world.
Once there, we will learn more about the daily activities of the population.
They will explain to us that the people of Uros still maintain their own culture and traditions, as well as artisanal fishing, especially of carachi and pejerrey. To date, there are 75 islands where people live, each of which is well organized.
To reach our next destination, we will sail by boat for two and a half hours to the natural island of Taquile. During the trip, you will be able to observe the mountain range and see the very cooperative and well-organized people of Taquile.
This is why the Taquileños have demonstrated their high level of advancement in textiles, receiving an award from UNESCO.
The visit will last an average of 2 hours, of which 1 hour will be spent enjoying a delicious traditional lunch overlooking the lake.
At the end of the Uros Taquile Tour, we will return to Puno, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m.
